Safety Not Guaranteed
Ryan: 3.5-4 stars Michelle: 4 stars Kate: 4.5 stars
Michelle: Why can’t you decide between 3.5 and 4 stars?
Ryan: It’s 4 it’s 4.
Michelle: But you said 3.
Ryan: No I didn’t I said 3.5 to 4 so I’m going with 4.
Michelle: Well why are you going with 4 now?
Ryan: (He’s getting upset now~he’s sitting on the couch while I write this…) Because you pressed me~and I realized I needed to go with 4!
Michelle: But, what was deciding factor for you?
Ryan: I don’t know…
Michelle: WHAT WAS IT?!!!
Ryan: Just with how sincere they were with the film, they could have been goofy about the premise, but they didn’t do that.
Michelle: Yeah, I like how it was sincere. I wish we could time travel. That would be cool.
Premise: Safety Not Guaranteed is a 2012 American comedy drama film inspired by a 1997 Backwoods Home Magazine classified ad – written as a joke filler by Backwoods employee John Silveira – by a person asking for someone to accompany him in time travel (Wikipedia)
